Seoul, the greatest city?? ha.

Ya, it might have some perks but when you can only agree with 5 AND you live here.....

Click it and read it.
50 reasons why Seoul is the greatest city

I was really hoping that after I read this I'd have a little more hope for  this country, but after reading it....it just sealed the deal. The things that I would agree with would be they have beautiful women,  the men...not so much.  Soju is cheaper then water (but it REALLY doesn't treat you as well as water), the heated floors are quite nice but the rooms are so hot with stale air that you'd rather be outside in the freezing yet kinda fresh air, The forgeiner line is pretty amazing (it has most definitely helped me out a few times!) and Jjimjilbangs, the cheap spas are amazing if you can handle all the korean ladies staring at you.  But other then that, I just don't get it.

Mostly bad, but there is some good.

A few pictures of some of the things I've managed to squeeze in between doctor visits.

Changdeok Palace

The road I walk to get to the subway
A leisurely hike I manage to make the next morning after my birthday.

It was not a leisurely hike... we scaled, climbed and tripped over rocks, swung from trees and slid down cliffs. My knee did not  like it.

Went to Lotte World, an inside/outside amusement park in my neighborhood. This is Magic island, the outside part.

It's like a very small disneyland

Some Korean flare

Change Lotte world to Korea and this is how I feel :(

Went to the Horse races

Placed a 10,000w bet on #9 Ashtray. (I named him)

Was ahead the whole race....finish last.

Meyongdong, a big shopping district

Korea ripped me a new asshole.....literally.

It's been a month since my last post and you wouldn't think much has happened, right? Well....I wouldn't want my curly moments to disappoint you.

What has happened, you ask? Well, I've had surgery, lost my wallet, been informed I have to pay $8,000 for my ACL surgery which I will have the end of July, and I have turned 29. Yippie.

In my short time being in Korea, I will have paid over $10,000 on medical expenses.

Donations are now being accepted for "Get me the hell out of Korea!"
